This requires all Business Leaders to re-think, re-imagine, plan out and implement structural innovations in their own companies so that they can contribute more to the country’s economic recovery now and in the years to come.

Heeding the Call

In response to the challenges brought about by rapid change, TRAIL has pivoted its Executive Coaching Program to be delivered via a 2-month online course, consisting of weekly learning and coaching sessions. Participants, in groups of 6 will be accompanied by a TRAIL Executive Coach / ExO Certified Consultant.

Designed for Business Leaders, TRAIL has augmented the program to include the tools and strategies of the Exponential Organizations complementing the Five Disciplines of the Learning Organization, and  the Theory U Innovation Lab, for an integrated awareness-based Systems Change process.  The program is designed to create a paradigm shift in leadership from an Ego-centric, and Silo-thinking perspective to an Eco-system Awareness, much needed among leaders today.

Companies are encouraged to send participants in Teams of 4-6 members, working as a task force who will unlearn and re-learn together using the methodology of action research. At the end of the program, participants are expected to present their recommendations for more efficient work processes and structural innovations to bring their organizations to its next level of performance excellence.

1. Personal Mastery in the Learning Organization – Leadership actualization towards a Shared Vision

Coaching Session: Clarifying Personal and Professional Goals

• Homework: Biography Work and Goals Tracker

2. Systems Thinking Tools, Strategies, and Team Learning

Action Learning Coaching Session: learning how to apply the Iceberg template for a deeper understanding of the organizational system under study

• Homework: Conduct an Action Learning coaching session in the workplace and apply the Iceberg template to gain more insights on the current state of your organization

3. Theory U Innovation Lab: From Ego-system to Ecosystem Leadership

Coaching Session: Plan out the Co-sensing journey using the tools of Theory U

• Homework: Conduct internal and external stakeholder interviews in your organization. Research on the work of the Presencing Institute in their website.

4. Deep Dive and Crystallize emerging opportunities for your Organizational system; Introduction to the Attributes of the Exponential Organization (MTP+SCALE+IDEAS)

• Homework: Defining your Organization’s Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP); enroll in the ExO Foundations Course online

5. Becoming an Exponential Organization

What are your company’s pain points in scaling up? How many ExO Attributes are you exhibiting? What ExO Attributes can you focus on to scale up?

• Homework: Exponential Technologies, ExO Attributes and their impact on the organization’s MTP

6. Introduction to ExO Canvas and Business Model Canvas

• Homework: Creating an ExO Canvas to reflect the ExO Attributes exemplified by your organization.

7. Balancing Innovation and Risk: Core and Edge Initiatives

• Homework: Create an ExO Canvas for your organization’s Core and Edge Initiatives

8. Exponential Business Models and Prototyping

• Homework: Review your current Business Model and create an Exponential Business Model for your organization based on your recommended Core and/or Edge Initiatives.

9. Final Call: Presentations of Core and Edge Initiatives and Program Closing

Time commitment

There will be three (3) 4-hour class sessions for the first week. For the remaining weeks, there will be a 1.5 hour class session every Monday, a scheduled 1.5 hour coaching session with your TRAIL Executive Coach every Wednesday, and a 1.5 hour results session every Friday. The virtual program is output-based and will have presentations of the Assignments. Participants will need to allocate time to work on self-paced materials and to prepare for a 5 or 10-minute presentation each week.

Attendance

It is important to attend all live sessions and coaching sessions. The live sessions will be recorded and available to all participants. However, it is important to attend the live sessions and coaching sessions for co-learning and experience with your colleagues in the program. In case you are not able to attend a particular scheduled session, please inform your coach and facilitator. Attendance to all team exercises is required.

Tools

The program is 100% delivered online. Live sessions and coaching sessions will be using dedicated Zoom Rooms. TRAIL ECP Toolkit will be available to all participants through a URL that will be provided. This will contain all the recorded videos, presentation, materials, tools, and reading materials in the learning journey. All participants will also be given access to the TRAIL ECP Community where we can continue conversations, share insights, and build rapport even outside the official sessions. Teams can use communication tools like FB Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts etc., to support real time conversations to drive cooperation and collaboration among colleagues in your group.

INVESTMENT

Each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion (if the learning journey has been completed, all outputs were submitted on time).

The program was originally designed for an in-person program at  the price of PHP55,000 plus 12% VAT.
